Office life
Although I was only at PMO for 2 months it was the first time in my life I had worked in a real office environment, previous jobs included the usual suspects of bars and restaurants as well as the odd nightclub, and then just before PMO I spent 2 years working in someones basement with only one other member of staff and no daylight.
I learnt a lot from working at PMO and I’m not talking about my work, that was easy! Proving Phill wrong used to be the highlight of my day
I mean socially, other members of staff have commented that the daily dramas of the office at PMO was what made the place and I completely agree, those odd little events that seemed to fill our day with gossip used to make working there that little bit easier and more enjoyable. I won’t go into too many details as I’ve been told that what happens in the office stays in the office, but we had a great time working there because of the amazing atmosphere that was created by a great team.
Unfortunately I now work back in a basement again, this time its the basement of the family home so I don’t even get the fresh air blowing through my air on the way to and from work, I just get the 50m walk which carries me from bedroom to kitchen and then to basement where I spend 10 hours a day working in front of yet another brick wall with only my laptop and a fax machine for company…
