Working from Home

One advantage of working at home is I can play my music as LOUD as I want!

Not so sure about my taste in my music though, iTunes playing a random playlist suddenly thought that playing “Fun Fun Fun” by “Status Quo with The Beach Boys” would be a good idea!

On saturday we set off for a sleeply little village a few hours drive from home, tucked away in the Costa Tropic. After setting off on saturday morning we arrived in the village of Pampaniera and started looking for the guide book that was supposed to be guiding us through the country. We’d forgotten it. Plan b: Ask the hostel owners for a couple of local walks, they showed us some leaflets and we managed to workout what we thought was the route. The first part of the route involved following the route backwards…. have you ever tried to follow directions backwards? It just doesn’t work! (more…)

Suprise visit

It all started with a suprise visit from our local Spanish farmer who has his finca on the opposite side of the road from our house. While I should have been busy working on Friday, we were summoned by one of our neigbours to help pick some avocados. We had been given warning of this but we were just expecting to be filling a couple of plastic bags with fruit, it was not to be that easy though… (more…)
